Our Story

About Us

We are Lindsey and Steve, a daughter and father team based in Devon.

We have both had a variety of different jobs over the years and also lived in several different counties in the south. In 2017 we made the move from the Cotswolds to Devon.

We have spent the past 5 years cleaning peoples ovens, but as with everyone the pandemic had a big impact and we decided we needed a change and would rather work from home too.

How It Started

I was using reusable make-up wipes and they were at the stage when they needed replacing. I had a look online about how to make them myself as I already had a sewing machine and thought i might as well us it. Whilst searching I also had videos appear of how to make hair scrunchies.

I still use hair scrunchies that I had as a child, which made me think if i still use them maybe other people do too, and they do seem to of made a come back recently.

After scrunchies came the hair bows, as who doesn't love a good hair bow (including me!) Then i realised that with a few tweaks I could also make dog bows, which seems to be a big thing now and i am also a lover of dogs (although we don't have one currently, but we used to have a lovely lassie rough collie).

The Future

Our aim is to be able to work from home full time doing what we enjoy, making lovely handmade items.

We also plan to attend craft fairs and shows, as well as adding lots more great products (we have many ideas).
